New challenges on the Web

 

The main problems of Internet trading are the follows:

  • Easy to remain anonymous
  • The consumer often does not have the possibility to phisically experience or trying out the goods
  • The documents can be easily faked, it is difficult to prove originality;
  • The consumers data may fall into unauthorized hands
  • The internet provides an opportunity for the rough form of direct marketing (spam, banner, cold calling).

 

Legal framework

 

The rules for electronic commerce are based on the Act CVIII. 2001. In addition, the Consumer Protection Act contains the general rules.
The Act broadly defines the concept of e-commerce, all the goods and service business for the purchase, sale, exchange activities on the subject, which is in the information society.
The Legal Information Society means any electronic means, for a distance, typically reward for service for which the recipient has access to an individual.
The information society service is taking place in any sale or other Internet services provided cover for money.
The electronic transactions are effective, fast and comfortable.
