Most common types of insurances

A really lot of different types of insurance have evolved. According to the most common local practice of categorization we can talk about three main groups:

• property insurance,
• liability insurance,
• personal insurance.

Property Insurance: This provides protection against damages taken on various properties. Main types: buildings, car insurance (eg comprehensive), business insurance, agricultural insurance, etc The insured amount acts on the rate of the damage. (so called damage-insurance)

Liability Insurance: It covers the damages caused by the insured to third parties. Main types: car compulsory liability insurance, professional liability (eg, audit).
 

Personal insurance: in case of insured events related to human life, health, they usually provide an amount in a lump previously fixed in the contract (amount insurance). Life, accident and health insurance belong to this group.
